Early Life and Career
Cheryl Cole was born on June 30, 1983, in Newcastle upon Tyne, England. She began her music career in 2002, when she auditioned for the reality TV show, Popstars: The Rivals. Cole was selected as a member of the girl group Girls Aloud, which went on to become one of the most successful girl groups of all time.
